From Greg and Troys Deck
After a day of on again off again rain showers the evening settles over Vancouver Island. Views from Mt Dallas to the Northwest across the Haro Straits.

Looking towards Sidney BC
From Mt Dallas on San Juan Island looking west towards Sidney BC across the Haro Straits.

Victoria BC in the background
From our vantage point on the west side of San Juan Island were looking across the Haro Straits into Victoria. Our little Island has a year around population of 7500 and 11 miles away a half a million people are just on the other side of the border

The westsides best
Without a doubt the best shoreline on the westside of San Juan Island. Talk about kayaking with the Orca whales. They are literally in your front yard.

Haro Straits
Freighter traffic moving north up the Haro Straits to Vancouver BC. Vancouver Island is in the background.

Westerly Views
Unobstructed views across the Haro Straits to Victoria BC. Spectacular sunsets, shipping traffic and views around the clock with the city lights at night.
