Daily Photos of San Juan Island, Washington, USA
Back on the water feels so good. I’m out on my boat “Strictly Business” going between the ferry dock on Orcas Island to Roche Harbor showing clients property. Got some great shots today. Jones Island is a 187 acre park dedicated to boaters. Community dock and mooring bouys are on a first come first serve basis.
Entering the south entrance of Mosquito Pass bound for Roche Harbor. Open bay on Henry Island is in the background. Great salmon fishing off Open Bay.
Over the 4th of July The World came to town. Created quite a stir. All the locals thought the ship would come into Friday Harbor. Not to be. All 650′ of this floating condo stayed on anchor out around the corner in Griffin Bay, positioned to watch the fireworks from both Friday Harbor and Lopez Island.
10th annual Yacht Haven parade, local neighborhood tradition, parade, followed by greased pig contest and then a picnic on the beach.
Around 9:00 pm on the 4th. This shot was taken from above the limekilms on Captain’s Row. One large party…
At the solstice party on Carter Beach, money is always raised for the foundation. Great group….
